Wastewater management has gone through a technological alteration over the past couple of years. The traditional methods, which have been very successful where the optimal conditions permitted, were not so successful when conditions were unfavorable. Therefore, the need arose for a new solution to wastewater management, and drip irrigation was developed. Using this technology to develop subdivisions more densely instead of developing large lot subdivisions with individual septic systems, leads to significant reductions in per lot development costs.
