Waste Water Technologies was incorporated in 1995. The company got its start as part of a large commercial plumbing
and site utilities company; Precision Commercial Plumbing Inc. Precision Commercial Plumbing began installing the
plumbing and site utilities for many schools in the Central Texas area about 15 years ago. After several years of
installing the plumbing and site utilities for many of the Central Texas area's schools, we began to notice that
schools were being built swiftly as the land was being developed and they were being built without centralized
wastewater treatment. With the development in unincorporated areas came quite a dilemma for these school districts;
who can we turn to for our wastewater treatment and disposal solutions. There was no one in the wastewater field
that offered sales of top notch equipment, technical support for the design, evaluation of the site, installation
of the system and operation and maintenance of the system under one umbrella. We have found schools
really embraced the idea of a one-stop shop for their wastewater treatment and disposal needs, and more
recently commercial and residential developers, as well.
Once Precision Commercial plumbing had identified the problem, identified potential clients, and decided to invest
the time and resources necessary to fund Waste Water Technologies, we were without a product we really believed in
that was designed for commercial use. The technology that was available at the time was basically residential
technology that was forced into a commercial application. With perseverance, a lot of research and a little
luck we found Tom Sinclair and Marc Cain and the Perc-Rite ® management system. (This management system partnered
with drip or spray irrigation technology coupled with commercial treatment systems has enabled WWT to become
the leader in the field of onsite treatment and land application of wastewater.)
To date, we have installed wastewater systems for more than 43 commercial sites, including schools, parks,
golf courses, churches, restaurants, office complexes, sub-divisions, shopping centers and resorts.
